We believe songwriting is not only an art form — it is a path of self-discovery, healing, and connection. Through workshops, collaborative projects, ongoing circles, and in-person retreats, we aim to nurture both the music and the person behind it.

songcabin
Songcabin is the living house band of The Song House.
It is not a fixed group of musicians. It is a collaborative creative organism — a river of songs shaped by the community itself.
HOW IT WORKS
Following the rhythm of the moon, Songcabin begins a new song each cycle. The core stems are released so that anyone in the community can contribute — adding harmonies, verses, instrumentation, or completely reimagining the track.
Over the course of a year, thirteen songs are created. Together they form a complete album — a living record of the community’s shared creative journey.
Guest artists and lecturers will also be invited to contribute a track during the moon cycle in which their course takes place. In this way, Songcabin will gradually become a living band that bridges many recognized artists, weaving their voices into the ongoing creative life of The Song House.
From the many versions that emerge, the strongest interpretations are gathered into the final collection.
WHY IT MATTERS
Songcabin turns passive membership into active co-creation.
It gives every participant a real role in shaping the music that represents The Song House.
And it keeps the spirit of collaboration at the center of everything we do.

Workshops
At The Song House, learning and creating happen in community.
These offerings are currently being prepared and will be announced through our mailing list as they become available.
ARTIST-LED WORKSHOPS
Intimate multi-week gatherings guided by working songwriters. These collaborative experiences combine teaching, reflection, and shared songwriting practice in a supportive and unhurried environment.
We are currently seeking our first Artist / Songwriter / Songcabin Collaborators.
If you are a songwriter interested in leading a workshop or contributing in other ways, we welcome your inquiry.
Other Ways Artists Can Contribute
Not every offering needs to be a full multi-week workshop. Artists may also contribute shorter forms of teaching — such as a focused lecture on their songwriting process — which can live on as evergreen content for the community.
WEEKLY CIRCLES
An ongoing space for steady creative practice. Once established, these circles will offer regular songwriting prompts and live songsharing sessions, creating a consistent rhythm of writing and connection.
SONG HOUSE ALBUM CHALLENGE
Following the rhythm of the moon, the community will be invited to write and share songs across thirteen cycles each year.
This ongoing challenge is designed to be more than a writing sprint. It will include songwriting prompts, song support sessions, peer feedback, networking opportunities, and regular songshare gatherings — forming a living, collective body of work that grows with the community.
THE SOUND STAGE
A dedicated space where members can upload and share their songs. The SoundStage will serve as the community’s listening room — a place to present work, receive thoughtful feedback, and discover the music being made by fellow songwriters.
LOOKING AHEAD
In time, we will also gather in person for intimate retreats in natural settings.
Everything at The Song House is designed to grow at a sustainable pace. We are building a perpetual creative community — one that deepens as the right people and collaborations arrive.
